Tweaking the Send To menu What's that, you say? None of the
stock Send to options offer the ability to shuffle your files to the
locations you commonly use? Force the issue!First, create shortcuts to
the folder locations you're like to add to the Send To menu by
right-clicking them, then selecting Send to > Desktop (create
shortcut). Once that's done, open Windows Explorer, then type
shell:sendto in the location bar at the top, followed by Enter. You'll
be brought to the location that holds your Send To options; just drag
and drop in the shortcuts to the folders you want to add to the tool.
Move Cursor to beginning of the next or previous word Moving the cursor
around manually while typing is a great way to make your work take
longer than it needs to. To speed of the process, move the cursor around
with keyboard shortcuts. To move it to the beginning of the previous
word, use CTRL + Left Arrow. To move it to the beginning of the next
word, use CTRL + Right Arrow. In OS X you can accomplish the same using
the Option key.
Send money The best thing about sending money via Messenger is that it's
free, but this also rules out the possibility of sending money via
credit cards or other methods - only debit cards are supported for now.
It's also easy, and all you need do is enter the settings menu and add a
card to your account to get started. However, while it doesn't support
native payments in the UK just yet, TransferWise announced its own
Messenger bot that'll guide you through the process of sending money to
friends (completely free of charge) from within Facebook. While it's
limited to the UK, US, Canada, Australia and Europe for now, the company
intends to make the functionality available to all 50 countries at some
point in the near future. Just click here to get started. Provided
you're over 18, a US resident and have a US debit card registered to
your account, sending or receiving payments - or even requesting
payments - is pain-free. See our separate article on How to send money
on Facebook Messenger for further instruction.
The catch, unfortunately, is that setting up the ruse requires a
considerable amount of time and effort. But only in the early stages.
Once the accounts are opened and a series of regular payments is set up,
you should be able to sit back and count the interest as it trickles
in.

Run programs on an infected PC Often times, malware will prevent a
computer from running certain programs. Changing the name of the .exe
file can often override this. If that doesn’t work, changing the
extension to .com is another useful alternative, and the program will
still be able to run in spite of the extension change.
You will need about 2 stacks of ladders, 1 bucket of water, a few iron
(or one diamond) pickaxe(s) and a sign. The sign is optional, though it
is helpful in marking where to place the water.

How: Pop into Settings then Chats and Calls. Right at the bottom, you’ll
find Low Data Usage. Turn that on to decrease the amount of data used
during calls made via WhatsApp. We’d still advise using WhatsApp calls
sparingly on data if you’re on a limited data plan, but you can still
save on calls when connected to Wi-Fi abroad.
To copy a file path to your Clipboard, hold down the Shift key,
right-click the file or folder you want, then select the newly revealed
"Copy as Path" option. Now you can paste the info wherever you'd
like—including the "File name" portion of Browse dialog boxes, with no
extra browsing required.
Windows has a ton of keyboard shortcuts baked right in, but you can roll
your own to open the software of your choice lickety-split—no
mouse-clicking or launcher-hunting required.Right-click the program's
launch icon and select Properties. Open the Shortcut tab, then click in
the "Shortcut key" field and press the key you want to use to launch the
program. Windows will assign Ctrl + Alt +
as a keyboard shortcut to open the program. It's a seriously useful
trick, especially if you don't want to stuff your taskbar full of
quick-launch program icons. Don't forget to click OK when you're done to
save the shortcut.
Cloud backup important files If you’re working on a critical paper for
school, work, or any other major project, make sure you are backing up
the file not just locally. You can use services like Dropbox, Google
Drive, or any of the other popular cloud storage solution which will do
the legwork for you on the background. Of course, you can also throw the
files on a thumb drive or external HDD just to be safe but backing up
to the cloud can be done seamlessly which is twice the advantage.

Copy a file path to the Clipboard Why would you ever want to copy a file
path to the Windows Clipboard? Well, you may just want to tell someone
how to browse to a common location for a given application. I, however,
use it to mark the spot of a local file I've found using Windows
Explorer, so it'll be handy later—to upload photos to Facebook or
document attachments to Outlook emails, for instance. To copy a file path
to your Clipboard, hold down the Shift key, right-click the file or
folder you want, then select the newly revealed "Copy as Path" option.
Now you can paste the info wherever you'd like—including the "File name"

A trick to defend your house that works best once you're settled in, and
have enough iron to make track and a minecart. (Powered rails are also
helpful, so some gold and redstone is a must.) Ring the house with rail
or powered rail, craft a few minecarts, and set them spinning around the
perimeter. Any mobs that come close to your house will be scooped up by
the minecart and taken for a ride. This trap can be modified with
one-block-high tunnels to suffocate any mobs in the cart. You can, of
course, ride the carts yourself - you'll travel fast enough that most
mobs can't hit you. This, however, takes much more skill to use, and can
still trigger creeper explosions. Additionally mobs will not walk
across tracks because they are coded not too!

A more durable shelter can be made of cobblestone, but don't use dirt
for anything but strictly temporary shelters (dirt is easily demolished
by creepers). Don't build with or on sand or gravel—they are influenced
by gravity, which will make things very difficult when you decide to
expand the shelter or dig a basement. The best material you can make a
house with is obsidian since it is impossible for creepers to blow it
up, although obsidian is hard to get.
Of course, users have the option of upgrading to Spotify Premium, which
ditches the ads and allows for offline and restriction-free smartphone
and tablet listening. Or they can just do what upwards of 100 million
Web users do (including a certain baby boomer I know) and rent out their
earholes to Spotify's advertisers for complimentary access. But
regardless of how you listen, you may not be taking full advantage of
what Spotify has to offer.
First, switch the primary and secondary buttons. That's confusing
enough, but you can also change the pointer (the Normal Select - the
default pointer) to the Busy icon to make it seem like the PC isn't
responding properly.
Deeper, darker, more powerful secrets These tips are just the tip of the
iceberg. If you truly want to squeeze Windows for all its worth, check
out PCWorld's guide to 17 obscure Windows tools and tricks too powerful
to overlook. Windows is so deep and flexible that many of us never touch
its more potent tools—and beneath Internet Explorer and the Start

potential.
If you hashtag something in this way, you can click on it and view all
the other tweets from around the world that have used that hashtag. If a
certain hashtag is used often enough at the same time, it will ‘trend’
on Twitter. Read up about trends further down.
Every program to the right of the Start button is assigned its own
numerical shortcut, with the first program being "1," the second being
"2," and so on, all the way to the 10th taskbar shortcut, which gets
"0." Pressing the Windows key, plus the number of the program you want
to open, launches it. For example, in the image at left, pressing Win + 3
launches the Chrome browser.
iv) Also on day 3, make sure that standing orders will take £1,000 from
your first personal TSB account into your second. Then, it should go
into the first joint TSB account with a further payment to the second.
To share songs over Facebook Messenger, open a conversation on Messenger
and tap the three dots icon below the message to bring up the More
menu. Scroll down to and select Spotify from here, which will then
launch on your phone. Search for a song, select it, then press Send.
It's that easy.
To restore chats directly from a backup for whatever reason, simply
uninstall and reinstall WhatsApp. When you open the app after the
reinstall, you should be prompted to restore your most recent backup.

Rarely do passive mobs ever respawn after they have been killed, which
means meat can only last so long (unless you have 2 of each animal and
breed them). At this point, starting a farm is the best idea.

You can also pin the custom search shortcut to the File Explorer Jump

icon. Which brings up another point: Jump Lists rock.Right-clicking a
taskbar icon brings up that's program's Jump List—quick links to the
most recent files you've opened with that program. Got a file or
template you open often? Pin it to the Jump List by dragging it onto the
program's taskbar icon, or by clicking the pin icon to the right of the
file name in the Jump List itself. Jump Lists can skirt around Windows'
frustrating refusal to pin individual folders to the taskbar, pinning
folders to the Jump List instead.

Nationwide offers a FlexDirect account that pays 5pc interest on up to

Be careful when decorating around your bed. Some block placements will
look like you have access to your bed, but will prevent your bed from
acting as a spawn point. Never completely surround your bed, even with
half-height blocks like stone slabs. If your bed is obstructed and you
die somewhere, you will end up at the original spawn point with a
message saying that your bed is missing or obstructed.
Everyone should know how to create a secure password, but responsible
geeks can take it a step further by learning how to break into a
comptuer. This skill—whether used on a Windows machine or a Mac—can
really help you understand how computer thieves and hackers will try to
get at your data. Learning the process means you know how to protect
yourself against the process—not just with strong passwords but with
encryption and other settings tweaks that keep thieves out. Similarly,
you may also want to learn how to crack a Wi-Fi network’s WEP and WPA
password.
@Matthew, actually that’s a good question. It is not technically a
re-do. When you undo something (ctrl + Z) the computer adds that to a
virtual stack. using this undo an undo method deletes that stack. An
easier way to understand it is this, if you are reading a book and go
back from page 100 to 99 (ctrl + z) and then go back again from 99 to 98
(ctrl + z) and then you choose a random page like 50, trying to go back
a few times to get to page 100 again will not work as it is lost in the
stack, but deleting the stack helps you to get back to the right ‘line’
you want.

How: Go to Settings, Notifications, then Popup Notification, and choose
from four different options. You can change this setting for both
individual messages and group messages respectively. Unfortunately, this
feature is only available for Android. For now, anyway.
Unless you disable the feature, WhatsApp will display to all your
friends when you were last online – making those awkward messages that
little bit harder to avoid. Don’t worry as there is a way to disable the
timestamp and disappear into the shadows, although the catch is that
you won’t be able to see when any of your friends were last online. It’s
only fair, right?
First, dig a 1×2 hole down to bedrock level. Remember not to dig
straight below yourself. If you hit non-flowing lava, stop your
mineshaft, or try and find a way around the lava.
Lock your computer if you get up Sick of your "friends" going onto your
computer at work or home and posting things on your Facebook/Twitter
page on your behalf? It’s certainly an annoyance, but an easy one to
prevent. Windows + L will lock your system right away, requiring a
password (if you've set one) to log in again.
Facebook offers functionality that allows you instantly take and send
photos in the Messenger app, making the whole process a little easier.
However, what is impressive is that when the camera icon is tapped, the
keyboard disappears and is replaced with a mini-viewfinder.
As we have stated in the BUILD2017 session, we know that UWP is not
complete yet, we have gaps to plug in order to support certain types of
applications. We are making big steps forward in the Fall Creators
Update by aligning with NET Standard 2.0 and by adding support for more
Win32 APIs as well. There is more work happening beyond that and I would

Giddora My biggest tip to new pc gamers is: Avoid steam at all cost. You
do not buy their games, you only rent them and if your account is lost,
they will do nothing to help you or reimburse you. I can't stress it
enough. Do not use Steam. Gog.com is the good guy when it comes to
games. Their games aren't locked to any client and they have a very good
support system and community. Their developers are continually helping
with getting classic games running on new os'es and they really care. If
you buy games from them, they are yours however you like it. Play them
through their client or uninstall the client and play anyway. -2 4 weeks
